The League of Legends World Championship is a few weeks away and the hype cannot be higher. With a new format and top teams contending in the biggest tournament of the year, there is a lot to expect, including the Worlds 2023 drops and rewards.

Riot Games is likely going to keep the tradition with a whole swatch of rewards and activities you can do during Worlds. That said, we might see something new next month, as fans will be able to pick up the virtual pass. Let’s see what this all about and what rewards players can pick up during the tournament.

Worlds Pass 2023 will be full of fan rewards

Back in April of 2023, John Needham, the President of Esports at Riot Games, addressed the future of international events and Riot’s plans to enhance them. In the post called One Shot: Building the Future of Sport at Riot Games, Needham went over Riot’s intentions to enhance experiences for fans around international events.

Compared to previous passes, the new Worlds 2023 will have the option of including team-specific rewards as well as physical offerings. Previous passes have been restricted to digital rewards and all of them have been non-team-specific. By introducing the new passes, Riot hopes to attract fans and incentivize them to play the game to reap unique rewards.

Moreover, there was the intention to add special features such as access to in-venue cameras and ways to follow players during matches directly, similar to the old Pro View system.

That said, nothing has been officially confirmed, so we’ll have to wait a bit longer to know more details about it. Regardless, we should get something innovative and that was never seen before.

Worlds 2023 Event Pass

It’s unclear how much the Worlds 2023 pass will cost but we should expect it to be a bit higher, especially if all the new features were to be implemented.

Worlds 2023 Missions

The missions are yet to be revealed.

Worlds 2023 Watch and Pick’em Missions

Just like every year, we should be expecting a Worlds Pick’em contest and rewards for watching games. That said, no details have been leaked yet so make sure to come back and check later.

Worlds 2023 Drops

Drops should also be back for Worlds 2023 as well. To earn them, all you need to do is connect your Riot ID to Youtube, Twitch, or the LoL Esports channel.

If you don’t plan to follow the entire event, you can always just watch high-priority teams and their games to earn your loot, our LoL Worlds Power Rankings should help you identify them.
