Netflix shared a premiere release for Arcane Season 2

The announcement came on social media channels on the first day of Netflix’s Geeked Week, teasing that the premiere release for the sequel should be next year in November. This means that Arcane fans across the world will have to wait around one year before watching Jinx, Vi, and all the other characters in action.

What is Arcane about?

If you haven’t heard of Arcane, then get ready because it’s going to be one hell of a ride. The show tells the origin story of Jinx and Vi, two League of Legends champions who happen to be sisters. Despite sharing the same blood, the two find themselves on two different parties, with Jinx representing the undercity of Zaun and Vi the utopian city of Piltover.

The first season mainly goes over the childhood of these two characters, alongside the interactions of many other LoL champions such as Viktor, Jayce, and others. Even though the game is set in the League of Legends universe, the animation, the storyline, and the quality of the show took all types of viewers by storm. Most have been captivated by the world of Runeterra, as fans have been dying to know when the Arcane season 2 would come out. Now, these people have an answer.

What will happen in Arcane season 2?

In one of the previous Reddit AMA, Rioter Christian Linker mentioned “war” as a summary of season 2’s story. With how the first season ended, Arcane Season 2 might witness the “war” blowout between Zaun and Piltover, as Jinx and Vi will continue their rivalry. Additionally, we should be able to see new characters added to the story, including Warwick, which was teased in the trailer for second season.
