In Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the player will assume the role of Basim, a talented swordsman, master combatant, and parkour expert. He’s the embodiment of the Assassin Brotherhood, boasting all their skills and then some. Of course, along with those skills and talents goes an arsenal of weapons, and it’s with these weapons that Basim will accomplish his missions. So, that’s why we’ve assembled a brief Assassin’s Creed Mirage weapons guide, to detail what’s going to be available in that arsenal.

It’s assumed that there will be far fewer weapons available in Assassin’s Creed Mirage than in recent titles, and that’s owed to the reduced scope of the game itself. It’s also an indication of Basim’s preference – he’s the main character, after all. Given the impression that we’ve got of him, it’s hard to see him wielding massive, oversized weaponry like Eivor, Kassandra, or Alexios did in the most recent Assassin’s Creed games.

But, that doesn’t mean that we’re not going to assemble an Assassin’s Creed Mirage weapons guide – and here it is.

What Weapons Are In Assassin’s Creed Mirage?

At present, there isn’t a confirmed list of Assassin’s Creed Mirage weapons, but eagle-eyed fans have identified most of the arsenal through trailers and promotional materials. For instance, we know that first and foremost, Basim will be using his hidden blade – and that’s a weapon that’ll stay with him for the rest of his life. It’s also known that he has a personalised sword, as players can unlock and use that sword in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Thanks to promotional materials that have revealed Basim’s outfit in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, we know that he’ll use throwing knives and certain bombs – such as smoke bombs. There are also references to various devices such as noisemakers and mines that will be used to wreak havoc around Baghdad in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. We’ve also seen an indication that blow darts will exist. There are bows that enemies can use, but at present, we’re not sure if Basim himself uses one.

It’s widely assumed that there will be a range of small weapons that Basim can make use of, from axes and swords to daggers and potentially even small spears. In Mirage, players aren’t levelling up along an RPG-style path, but they’re responsible for upgrading their weapons over time and, through them, they become much stronger combatants.

What Abilities Are In Assassin’s Creed Mirage?

So, that’s the Assassin’s Creed Mirage weapons list, but what about Basim’s abilities? After all, we know he’s a gifted fighter, but what unique abilities does he have that set him apart from the rest of the warriors of that era?

Firstly, it’s important to bear in mind that Basim is quite literally the reincarnation of an ancient god known as an Isu. He doesn’t know it yet in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, but it’s what gives him somewhat supernatural abilities. He can trigger Assassin Focus in Mirage, slowing down time and whipping from enemy to enemy, cutting them down with surgical precision. It’s a monumental ability that ensures nobody can stand in his way.

Basim will also be able to use Eagle Vision in the same way that the protagonists from the last three games have been able to. He has an Eastern Imperial Eagle at his disposal named Enkidu, and it’s with this bird that Basim can scout ahead, looking for opportunities and targets. As we’ve already highlighted, Basim is a master at parkour, and it has been said that in Mirage, he’ll move similarly to Arno Dorian in 2014’s Assassin’s Creed Unity.

There are vast crowds in Mirage, and he has to navigate them somehow.
