We’ve just gotten our first details for the last Guilty Gear Strive Season 2 character! Asuka R# is coming to the game! He’s going to be the final character of the Guilty Gear Strive Season 2 support. He’s a fitting character to end things with too. Asuka R# is sometimes known simply as That man, a pretty central figure in Guilty Gear lore for characters like Baiken.

The new fighter has long been a part of the Guilty Gear world. They hold an important role in stories. However, they largely haven’t been playable. Ever. Despite playing such a big role, the games tend to shy away from actually letting you play as Asuka R#. Guilty Gear Strive is remedying this with the latest DLC character though!

Asuka R# – Final Guilty Gear Season 2 Character

Guilty Gear Strive has had a decent support period compared to some other Arc System Works titles. It’s still a part of the Arc World Tour, even as newer games have been dropped from the series. Its second round of additional fighters has been a big one too. We’ve got some of the most popular characters like Bridget and Sin.

Asuka R is going to be the final one for this batch, coming right after Bedman? got added to Guilty Gear Strive. The update for Asuka R# will be added alongside a new arena. This will be called Tir na Nog. It’s going to hit the game on May 25th in a big Guilty Gear update. That addition should also fix the network problems that have been in Guilty Gear recently.

Asuka R# is going to be released very quickly after getting unveiled. If you’ve been waiting to play the game’s antagonist at last, then this update is going to let you jump in really quickly.
