Finally no more hoarding of items! Patch no. 16 also puts an end to many bugs for good. We have the patch notes for you
Christmas may be over, but Larian is still giving you presents – in the form of new updates for their role-playing epic Baldur’s Gate 3. Hotfix 16 has just been released, which is once again very impressive in terms of scope.
A completely new feature is also included. Instead of just fixing bugs, the role-playing game is now much more convenient in one important respect. And if you have a lot of time and reading to do, you know where to find the full patch notes: as always on page 2!
We recently voted Baldur’s Gate 3 number 1 on our top 150 list of the best role-playing games
Finally no more hoarding of items
Do you know this too? For fear of not having an important quest item to hand at the right moment, you don’t put it down, but simply hoard it with one of your active party members. At some point, the heroes will be groaning under the weight of all the items
This is now a thing of the past! Thanks to Hotfix 16, you can now access many quest-relevant items even if they are in the inventory of inactive characters waiting in camp.
Hotfix 16 is now live for Baldur’s Gate 3, handling multiple bugs, issues, and blockers.
Party members hoarding trinkets? You can now access certain quest-related items on the spot – even if they’re not held by your current party!

More highlights of the new update
Waypoints: Waypoints are now sorted into categories, which provides a better overview.
Kissing Gale: From now on, Gale’s dialog will no longer be abruptly interrupted when you ask him for a kiss – how romantic!
Pixel mud: From now on, low-resolution textures will no longer occur as the game progresses.
Bugs? Which bugs? Of course, numerous smaller and larger bugs will also be addressed.
