Before Battlefield 2042 starts its seventh season in March, Season 6 will continue for around two more months – and will also get new and recurring content, which you can look up in the freshly published roadmap:

January 30, 2024: Patch 6.3 is released, which will provide Season 6 with various quality-of-life improvements, including improved map rotations.

February 6, 2024: The Lunar New Year event starts and brings cosmetic rewards.

February 20, 2024: Patch 6.4 brings further Quality of Life improvements, and the Arkagel Directive Event and Control game mode return.

March 2024: Season 7 is unveiled and launches.

After a difficult start, it took DICE around a year to bring Battlefield 2042 to a technically acceptable state. In the meantime, however, Battlefield 2042 has developed into a rock-solid part of the series. Has the latest BF spin-off won your heart?
