In just a few days, Season 7 will bring a whole host of new content for the shooter. We’ll show you what you can expect here

In exactly one week, on March 19, 2024, the seventh season of Battlefield 2042 will start. The developers are now revealing in detail what new features and content await you. In addition to three new primary weapons, you can look forward to a fighter jet and two new maps

Everything you need to know about Season 7 can be found here.

What’s new in Season 7?

Weapons: A total of three new weapons expand the arsenal of Battlefield 2042 in Season 7.

The assault rifle AK 5C and the submachine gun SCZ-3 will be added at the start of the season. The DFR Strife, a kind of hybrid between an assault rifle and a light machine gun, will also be released at a later date.

Gadget: In addition to the three primary weapons, there will also be a new rocket launcher. You may already be familiar with the SRAW from Battlefield 4, which fires a vehicle defense missile that can be controlled by you after firing.

Fighter jet: Pilots can look forward to a futuristic-looking fighter jet. The XFAD-4 Draugr will appear later in Season 7 and features EMP bombs and radar-guided missiles.

Maps: There will be two new maps for the first time in Season 7. Strictly speaking, however, only one of the two maps is completely new. Hafen transports us to a Chilean city on the edge of the Atacama Desert. We fight in a very confined space in the houses and alleyways of the small town

(The center of the map is the town center with stores and market stalls.)

The second new map to be added is the stadium of Sandglass which had previously been removed from the map as part of the rework. It will now serve as a separate map for infantry-only battles

Battle Pass: As usual, you can unlock new content and cosmetic items via a Battle Pass with one hundred levels. If you buy the premium version, you will receive additional skins and premium currency.

In addition to the new content, the new season will also feature some improvements, such as recoil and weapon animations.

If you want to give Battlefield 2042 another chance after seven seasons, you also have the opportunity to play the shooter for free for a short time. From March 21 to 24, you can try out the game for free on all platforms. If you decide to buy the game, you will also benefit from a discount.
