Returning to London

The BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024 will be the biggest Counter-Strike event held in London since 2018’s FACEIT Major, which was famously won by Astralis. It’s rare we get to see England take center stage for this type of tournament, but considering the size of its fanbase in the country, as well as the abundance of venues capable of holding large esports events, it’s a good fit.

The last Tier 1 event held in London was the BLAST Premier Spring Series 2020. Four years is quite the gap between events, and we can’t wait to see what it has in store.

BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024 Dates

Along with the huge announcement, BLAST also confirmed the planned dates of the Spring Final 2024. The event will run from June 12th to June 16th, 2024. The first two days will be played behind closed doors. Then, the tournament will move to the OVO Arena Wembley on the 14th, 15th, and 16th. With a total capacity of 12,500, BLAST seems to be planning quite the party.

As part of the announcement, Andrew Haworth, Programme Director for BLAST Premier, has this to say:

“The OVO Arena Wembley is a state-of-the-art facility and will provide fans with the perfect setting to witness the most talented Counter-Strike and esports players go head-to-head for a $425,000 total prize pool and chance to qualify for the highly-anticipated World Final in December 2024.”

Tickets for the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024 go on presale from 25th October, before moving to general sale on 27th October.
