The eighth year of Brawlhalla esports is in mid-swing at the moment and we’re heating up for another seasonal championship event. This time, it’s the Brawlhalla Summer Championship. This is the second of our regular championships and a halfway point for the year of competitive.

The Brawlhalla Summer Championship is going to be a major event taking place separately for each region. This is where players will qualify for the later stages of the summer tournaments. This Brawlhalla tournament is taking place over a few weeks across all of the regions. This is how it’s going to work and the key dates to follow for competitive Brawlhalla this season.

Brawlhalla Summer Championship 2023

The competitive season for Brawlhalla is divided up into a few key stages. In each, things kick off with a championship tournament. These are the opening stages where teams compete in an online open. This is the first stage, but it is worth paying attention to see which players are rising to the top in each region.

The Brawlhalla Summer Championship is taking place over July 28-30 for singles and August 4-6th for doubles. These few weeks of events will see players who hope to crack the game compete in head-to-head matches. The top-performing players at the end will then move on to the next stage, earning a spot at the Summer Royale. That’s not open like other events, so players are competing from invites not their position in Brawlhalla ranked.

Each of these tournaments is done online, so there’s a big LAN to think about for Summer until the end of August. The Brawlhalla Summer Championship is an early chance for players to distinguish themselves though ahead of the LAN.

What’s Next for Brawlhalla?

That’s how the Summer Championship is going to work, we’re really reaching a more packed part of the competitive calendar for the game though. We’re getting the Summer Royale at the start of September, then there are pretty regular tournaments as we speed through the autumn set too. Each of these Royales is going to be important for seeing which players are the standouts for the Brawlhalla World Championship.
