This year’s Capcom Pro Tour is going to be huge. It’s hot off the heels of the Street Fighter 6 release date with more interest in the game than ever, and it’s promising a record-breaking prize pool that’s making Street Fighter far and away the best-paying game out of the major titles right now. With all this hype, we’ve been waiting a while to learn how the tour will work and actually get the Capcom Pro Tour 2023 schedule.

Capcom’s stepped up this week and finally announced the start and events that will make up the Capcom Pro Tour 2023. This is a tournament series kicking off in a few weeks and running all the way to early 2024, with tons of events giving players the chance to work towards their slot at the finals. There’s already been a record number of sign-ups for the Capcom Pro Tour 2023 events, so when does it all start?

Capcom Pro Tour 2023 Schedule

The Capcom Pro Tour 2023 schedule has just been unveiled. The tournament begins in full at EVO 2023 in early August. Between then and January 2024, there will be off and online events with slots at the finals up for grabs.

Capcom has announced the tournaments which will qualify for the Capco Cup, with different events listed for each region. On top of that, a World Warrior program will be running too which will contribute towards getting to the Capcom Pro Tour 2023 Finals.

There will be more online events than offline for the game, which might be disappointing to some people. With a much higher demand for competing this year though, the new format will make it easier for anyone to get involved, without having to qualify for and travel to Majors.

The Capcom Pro Tour 2023 schedule will run through early 2024. That’s when we’ll see the actual Capcom Cup X hosted. These are the Grand Finals where the top players face each other offline, for a share of the $3,000,000 prize pool. Sign-ups for early events like EVO are already breaking records, the online events will likely be just as busy with everyone trying to get into the biggest event in fighting games right now.
