Activision Blizzard is yet to reveal the Call of Duty League 2024 season, but that hasn’t stopped some leaks from emerging from within the ecosystem. In recent days, claims surfaced online suggesting when the Call of Duty League season will kick off this year, and when each Major will take place. Now, in another leak, all the locations for those Major tournaments have been covered, and through that, several things have been confirmed.
It looks like there are no ‘international’ Majors again this year – nothing is being played outside of North America. Of course, given that the Paris Legion and the London Royal Ravens have since vacated their spots, there’s no real reason for a Major to wind up in one of those countries. However, this latest leak was also confirmation that we’re only getting four Major tournaments this season and that all the qualifying stages will be played online.
Where Are The CDL 2023 Majors?
It has been claimed on Twitter by Jacob Hale that the CDL 2023/2024 Major tournaments will be played in the following locations:
Major I: Boston, MA
Major II: Miami, FL
Major III: Toronto, ON
Major IV: Raleigh, NC
Champs: Dallas, TX
It’s a fair spread, but that fourth Major is a kick in the teeth for EU-based fans. It was just months ago that the London Royal Ravens rebranded and relocated, jumping over to the United States and becoming the Carolina Royal Ravens. Despite EU-based fans calling for a UK-based Major tournament for years, Activision Blizzard never gave them one. But now that the Royal Ravens have relocated to the United States, they’ll be hosting a Major in their first year in the CDL with the new brand.
This alleged leak also confirms that the Call of Duty League Championship will return to Texas in 2024. This is widely considered the home of Call of Duty these days, as the state houses more Call of Duty teams than anywhere else in North America. It’s also where OpTic is headquartered, and plenty of organisations call it at least a temporary base of operations.

When Do We Find Out For Sure?
Coincidentally, it should be today (November 2nd) that Activision Blizzard divulges information about the upcoming Call of Duty League season. It has been the longest off-season ever, for some. Since the CDL 2023 season wrapped up in June, we’ve had nothing but the World Series of Warzone to cling to as Call of Duty esports fans, and all over the world, spectators are sitting on the edges of their seats, eagerly awaiting some news.
On November 10th, Modern Warfare 3 will be released, ushering in a new game (with revisited maps), fresh movement, and another generation of CDL skins and Operators – and fans are excited. Will we see the CDL 2024 season confirmed today? Watch this space.
