Their experience in hosting international LAN events, like the ongoing CS Asia Championships, and regional tournaments such as the Perfect World Arena Premier League, positions them perfectly to manage the Shanghai Major.
While Perfect World’s announcement did not mention PGL, reports indicated that Perfect World would run the Shanghai Major in partnership with PGL. PGL is also organizing the first Major of 2024 in Copenhagen, showcasing its expertise in managing large-scale esports events.
