When does Season 3 Reloaded start?

It has become common practice that every CoD season gets a big update with new features in the middle. Season 3 Reloaded doesn”t have a start date yet, but it should be sometime in mid-May

What”s new in Season 3?
(For years fans have been demanding its return, now it”s coming: The CheyTac M200 intervention is now called FJX Empire.)

Battle Pass: The new Battle Pass again offers 100 unlockable sectors with skins, weapons and CoD Points. With Valeria and Alejandro, two familiar faces also appear as playable operators.

New weapons: MW2”s arsenal is growing again: At the end of March, leakers found a list of upcoming weapons. Officially confirmed is the comeback of a real legend: The sniper rifle Intervention, known from the original MW2, is coming back as the FJX Imperium.

Gunfight mode: The extremely popular 2v2 duel mode known from MW 2019 is to finally return in Season 3 with four maps and offer quick, but extremely intense rounds.

Warzone 2 Ranked: In Battle Royale, a competitive playlist is set to launch analogous to regular multiplayer, with players matched together based on strict SBMM .

New 6v6 Map: Already confirmed for Season 3 is the new multiplayer map Pelayo”s Lighthouse. Although it is new, it also brings back set pieces from the infamous Estate map from 2009, which is considered a classic among fans.

(Estate is one of the most famous maps in the MW series and is considered one of the most popular maps from MW2 2009.)

As CoD Portal (CharlieIntel reports), fan reactions to the reveal have been very positive so far. Among other things, the gloomy and rainy mood of the new map in contrast to the rather colourful and sunny maps of MW2 is praised.

This clip already shows gameplay on the new map with the FJX Empire (Intervention):
