At the weekend, Behaviour Interactive published the roadmap for the coming year in Dead by Daylight. That we are not in for a darn seventh year, but rather a second spring, is revealed by the developer”s busy plans.

Collaborations in the Dead by Daylight universe

Behaviour Interactive has big plans for the Dead by Daylight universe. This is made clear on the one hand by the various cooperations that the Canadian developer studio has entered into with other companies.
For example, they are working together with Supermassive Games  on a single-player story game. As is to be expected from the two studios, the concept of life and death is also at the forefront of this previously unknown title.

In contrast, the Behaviour subsidiary Midwinter Games is busy working on a multiplayer PvE game. Among other things, this is to tackle themes such as greed and depict a strange corner of the Entity realm.

Away from the gaming screens, Behaviour Interactive is also starting to gain a foothold.
For example, there s the already announced Dead by Daylight adaptation. Right now, the hiring process for director and screenwriter is underway. Further information on this will be provided at a later date.

The first issue of the Dead by Daylight comic book will also be released soon. This will be published by Titan Comics and should be available in stores and in digital form by the beginning of June.

In-Game Plans

Big changes are also coming within the asynchronous horror-survival game. Already on 13 June  sci-fi horror finds its way to Dead by Daylight – in the form of Chapter 28: End of Transmission. The map Toba Landing is set on a mysterious planet, where players not only have to deal with threatening flora.

The new killer, the Singularity, also has something to offer. This is a fusion of restructured organic matter and machine parts that is trying to become the perfect life form. Opposing it is the survivor Gabriel Soma, who must once again prove his determination to escape the Singularity.

Shortly after the release of the new chapter, more info will follow on 5 July including the announced chapter about Nicolas Cage.

Later this summer, Behaviour Interactive is celebrating Dead by Daylight”s 7th anniversary with an in-game collection. Fans can look forward to cosmetics in the style of the two metal legends Iron Maiden and Slipknot  More details are to follow at a later date.

In addition, artists from Canada, the USA, Poland, Japan and Spain are designing two outfits each for killers and survivors under the motto Art from the Mist  The collection will be available later in the summer.

Last but not least, the shop will be completed with the pendant Naughty Bear . In the style of the deadly plush bear, there shall be an outfit for the trapper and a unique Mori.
