If you’re a fan of Dota 2, chances are that you’re already familiar with the face of Illya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk, the two-time TI champ and one of the greatest carry players in the game. However, did you know that he’s quite the star in Valorant as well?
Earlier today, the 20-year-old uploaded a screenshot of his Valorant rank on his Telegram channel, clearly showing that he has hit Diamond 1 in the competitive shooter developed by Riot Games.
While this may not seem like a big deal to many at first, taking a look at the numbers shows how impressive this feat truly is.
To put things into perspective, Diamond 1 currently constitutes the top 3.8 percentile in Valorant, which is about the same as hitting high Divine in Dota 2. Diamond is followed by the ranks Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Iron. The only ranks better than Diamond in Valorant are Ascendant, Immortal, and Radiant, all of which are extremely thinly populated.
Fans of the Team Spirit star are amazed by Yatoro’s accomplishment in Valorant, as he has hit a milestone that is extremely difficult for the majority of the Valorant player base to hit.
