The new “FIFA 24” costs different amounts on PC, PS5, Xbox X/S or Switch. We give you the overview of pre-order, Ultimate Edition and more

Instead of FIFA 24, we’re getting EA Sports FC 24 on September 29 this year but not much else is changing. At least when it comes to pre-orders and editions, EA is relying on the same starting eleven as it has for several years now.

However, it seems that the price of EA Sports FC 24 will be raised a bit, at least on some of the available platforms. Here we tell you in detail what you should pay attention to.

Price: That’s what FC24 costs you

What you want to pay for EA Sports FC 24 depends very much on the platform you buy it on. Additionally, you have a choice of two different editions with different prices almost everywhere. When buying, keep in mind that the PC version and the PS5 or Xbox X/S version are identical.
At the same time, you will have to cut back on the PS4 and Xbox One, although these versions cost exactly the same as for the newer consoles. The Switch version, meanwhile, is completely behind on the shelf and only recommended if there’s no other option.

Here is the complete price overview:

Standard Edition:

PC: 70 Euro

PlayStation and Xbox: 80 Euro

Switch: 50 Euro

Ultimate Edition:

PC: 100 Euro

PlayStation and Xbox: 110 Euro

Save with EA Play Pro?

Whoever subscribes to EA Play Pro actually has to pay significantly less money at release and gets the exact same benefits as when buying the Ultimate Edition, which costs at least 100 euros. However, EA Play Pro is a subscription service, so you will have to pay again every month in order to continue playing the game.

EA Play Pro currently costs 15 euros per month, or 100 euros per year. So if you only want to play for a few months, the offer is cheaper (e.g. 60 euros for 4 months). If you subscribe for a whole year, you pay the same as for the Ultimate Edition, but you also get the entire games catalogue of the subscription service.

Preorder: Will it do any good?

Basically, we at GlobalESportNews advise against pre-ordering a game. Better wait for the first reactions and then decide if you want to spend money on it As in many cases EA tries to make pre-ordering a bit more palatable and offers exclusive benefits if you pre-order EA Sports FC 24

Ultimate Team:

Erling Haaland as loan pro item for 10 games

One selectable male and one female Ambassador for 5 games

A 5-star coach can be signed in a manager’s career
