Over time, streaming is becoming increasingly popular, both in terms of those broadcasting content and those soaking it up on the other end. It’s causing a paradigm shift in entertainment that’s twinned with the rise of gaming in general, and it’s nothing but a good thing for these individuals.

For some streamers, like IronMouse, it was a familiar feeling, scooping awards just weeks after picking up trophies at The Game Awards (December 2023).

Recently, Twitch reported immense growth through the first month of 2024, setting the bar for the year ahead. Not only that but competing platforms are also shaping up. In recent weeks, Kick.com – which is forever nipping at the heels of Twitch – reported more of a dive into esports, targeting an entirely new market.
