The International 12 Champions are…

We start off with the biggest long shot bet a Dota 2 fan can place, predicting the TI12 Champions. On the top of the spectrum, Team Spirit and Gaimin Gladiators are your fan favorites, boasting a high odds of approximately x6 or x8 in returns.

Although Gaimin won all three Majors this season, Team Spirit recently won the Riyadh Masters 2023, which mattered more than winning the majors in terms of prize winnings. Team Spirit are the proclaimed Gaimin destroyers, especially after such an unexpected victory for the former International Champion.

While impressive, as gamblers at heart, we can’t overlook the incredible returns on the other teams that aren’t heavily favored. For instance, 9Pandas, which isn’t too shabby themselves throughout the season, has a x19 return, so it wouldn’t be a ridiculous idea to drop a mere $10 on them. Other teams, such as Talon Esports, Entity Gaming and Thunder Awaken have even lower odds of winning, which make them the perfect underdogs. Choosing the Best Team for Each Region at Ti2023

Another TI12-exclusive betting market that deserves a look is the Top Regional Team Pick.

For instance, selecting the top Eastern European team lets you choose between Spirit, BetBoom, 9Pandas and Virtus.Pro. Team Spirit, of course, has poor returns, but 9Pandas’ x7.6 return isn’t too shabby. Considering they have a history of performing better than Spirit in majors, it’s a potential winning bet.

For the top Western European Team pick, consider picking up Quest Esports or Entity Gaming for their appealing odds of x8 and x14 respectively. Especially Entity, which has gone under the radar as a strong WEU candidate despite qualifying through TI12 WEU Regional Qualifiers as first-placed team, defeating Quest Esports.

Know your Ti12 meta for these Exotic Outrights

Other miscellaneous betting markets are also worth mentioning, as these have a coin-flip’s chance of hitting.

Betting on the Longest Map to be less than 90 minutes has a x1.62 returns, which is a decent flip, considering the recent Dota 2 meta revolves around the midgame with many objectives to secure throughout the map. The massive advantage one team has over the other, will often end the match quicker than past updates.

Another interesting betting market is Highest GPM by a Hero in a Map because for once, Alchemist and Anti-Mage aren’t the main carry options. Stretching from the same justification, it just isn’t a farming game in Dota 2 Update 7.34. Hence, it’s unlikely for the highest GPM hero to gain over 999.5 GPM, and the alternative is more plausible at x4.23 returns.

Finally, Most Deaths by a Hero in a Map should be an easy selection on any hard support hero to gain over 20 deaths. At x1.86 returns, it’s not much, but it’s a confident bet to consider.

Besides the mentioned, keep an eye out for daily match bets for Group Stage and Playoffs, starting on October 12-29. Check with our Dota 2 News section for the latest updates.
