SteelSeries has recently announced the much-anticipated teams for the CS2 Legend vs Champions showmatch, with a grand prize of $10,000 USD up for grabs.

The event promises to be a thrilling spectacle as FaZe Clan prepares to face off against LEGENDS, a team composed of renowned CSGO veterans and is set to happen on July 8.

The LEGENDS team boasts an impressive lineup, including Polish veterans Filip “NEO” Kubski and Jarosław “pashaBiceps” Jarząbkowski, Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovács from FaZe Clan, current Falcons player Nathan “NBK-” Schmitt, and the esteemed Jimmy “allen” Allen, formerly associated with SK during Counter-Strike 1.6.

The event will commence with a best-of-one warmup, where players will be limited to using the Desert Eagle, knives, and grenades. The player who lands the first knife kill in the opening match will be awarded a bonus of $500.

The highlight of the showmatch will be a gripping best-of-five final, taking place on the CS2 maps. Given the limited map pool featuring Dust2, Mirage, and Nuke, the teams will compete on these maps repeatedly until a clear winner is determined.

Jacob “Pimp” Winneche and Vince “Vince” Hill will be the casters guiding viewers through the event. SteelSeries also promises exclusive interviews with special guests during intermissions.

FaZe Clan and the LEGENDS team are all set to deliver an unforgettable display of skillful Counter Strike this Saturday on SteelSeries’ Twitch channel. Fans are eagerly awaiting this clash of titans for bragging rights and a substantial $10,000 USD prize.
