At least improvement is soon in sight. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth director Naoki Hamaguchi has announced a graphics patch in an interview with One More Game. Among other things, this is intended to improve the facial lighting of the characters, as they have taken on a very creepy appearance in some situations.
