FlyFighters Signing Punk to Street Fighter 6 Roster

Flyfighters signing Punk have secured them one of the biggest names in Street Fighter. The player has been one of the most successful North American competitors. He’s taken 2nd place at EVO in the past. That’s along with being a runner-up at the Capcom Cup 2019. Punk is definitely in the top flight of the game. He’s been one of the standout players in the early days of Street Fighter 6.

Along with the new signing of Punk, they’ve renewed their contract with Jmook. he’s another fighting game player but one who focuses on Smash Bros. This gives FlyFighters top players in a few fighting games.

Punk was previously on Panda. They were a team which had a bit of an implosion in 2019 after the cancellation of Smash World Tour and more details becoming public about staff’s conduct. They then lost the majority of their players. Since then, Punk has been a free agent, like quite a few of the major names previously under Panda. With FlyFighters signing Punk he’s once again on a bigger roster. This new roster gives the team a major presence in Street Fighter. It’ll be interesting to see how their players fare at the upcoming tournaments and if Punk can make a splash under his new team.
