Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 Teaser – Fortnite Wilds

Epic has started to release real teasers for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3. Our first look at the new season of the game has come in a brief teaser clip posted up on the official Twitter. This is pretty standard fair for new season promotion from the company. However, this one has gone a bit further than the normal blurry images and ominous countdowns.

The clip starts with something players might have been noticing on the map recently, the ground moving. The world shifts open a little revealing a wild area with ancient buildings hidden below the current map! That’s along with a wild jungle below. The Fortnite teaser even includes a few familiar characters at the cliff edge looking down on the new area, a trope for game reveals Fortnite’s gotten a lot of use out of over the years.

The new Fortnite teaser gives us a look at the general vibe the new season. However, even the text with the teaser has given us a few clues. For a start, it uses the hashtag FortniteWILDS. This has long been rumoured as the subtitle, Fortnite Wilds. That’s a label for each season Fortnite’s been using since the list of Fortnite all seasons got a bit too long for easy reference! We can now just use the subtitle which should sum the season’s theme and content up, this time it’s Wilds.

What Can We Learn from the Teaser?

One big change from what we already knew is the home of the new biome! The Fortnite teaser does seem to confirm the wild or jungle biome that leaks indicated we’d be getting this season. On top of that, it looks like it’s coming up from under the ground after it cracks open. This might mean there’s natural high ground around the entire new biome! This could provide a very weird edge to players with certain positioning, for both builds and Zero Builds in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3.

The reveal also showed off some of the buildings that we’re going to see. It looks like it’s bringing back the stone ancient style building that we’ve seen in old seasons. Or at least something similar for Fortnite Wilds. It also seems to confirm the new biome elements, along with hinting at the large rideable vines that have been rumoured.

The new Fortnite teaser is a great hint to what we’ve got coming next! Epic often includes more than one teaser to get our appetites wet for a new season. The latest instalment is going to be the summer season, bridging the content gap each August and around for quite a while. At the moment, everything looks pretty exciting for the brand new Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3.
