Every week, the Epic Games Store gives away one or more games. This week you can turn cities into rubble and ashes, among other things
It’s that time again: You can get new free games from the Epic Store for a whole week if you have an account. This time the store is offering Gigabash where you can reduce cities to rubble alone or with friends. And on top of that, the MOBA Predecessor invites you to throw yourself into fast-paced group battles. We present the games to you in a nutshell
Gigabash
Genre:Action fighting game – Release: August 4, 2022 – Developer:Passion Republic Games
Do cities bother you? If so, Gigabash is your chance to channel your frustration with these concrete jungles of humanity. Because in this action game, you flatten entire regions with huge monsters, such as a gigantic flower or the legendary Godzilla. However, other primordial creatures will get in your way. So apart from the destruction, you also get a multiplayer brawler in the middle of the ruins
For whom? Anyone who likes simple, graphically opulent action and is perhaps even a fan of Godzilla or, as mentioned, has an aversion to buildings, should not miss out on this Epic gift. The Steam community is definitely enthusiastic: (Around 900 reviews land in 92 percent of cases) with a thumbs up
Predecessor
Genre:MOBA – Release: December 1, 2022 – Developer:Omeda Studios
In the multiplayer online battle arena game, you choose one of ten heroes and fight for supremacy on different maps. The game’s graphics are impressive and you can also expect a wide variety of characters, each with their own strengths, weaknesses and abilities in the arena battles
Suitable for whom? Anyone looking for a new MOBA experience should take a look here. It’s not a highly acclaimed title, but it does have a decent rating, with just under 79 percent positive out of around 6000 reviews. The game also maintains a (reasonably stable player base of around 1000 daily). So it’s great for a few quick matches after work.
How do you like the gifts in the Epic Games Store this week? Can you warm to the destruction orgy or the MOBA? Have you perhaps already played one of the games yourself and can recommend it? Or are you voluntarily leaving this time completely empty-handed, as none of them are any good for you? Let us know in the comments!
