Gaimin Gladiators enters MLBB, signs majority of M3 World Championship’s BTK roster

The orgnization has picked up a roster for the North American region – a decision not so surprising as MOONTON invests considerably to grow MLBB esports in the continent. Furthermore, the roster that the organization has picked up represents the crème de la crème of what the region has to offer.

Gaimin Gladiators’ new MLBB esports roster is as follows:

Ian “FwydChickn” Hohl
Carlos “bestplayer1” Vega
Jang “Hoon” Seong-hun
Ziameth-Jei “ZIA” Caluya
Vo “SHARK” Trung

The roster is composed of veterans from the region. As a matter of fact, it was the prowess of FwydChickn, Hoon, ZIA, and SHARK, which propelled the sole NA team in the M3 World Championship to a third-place finish. This was an unprecedented run for a team from a tier 2 region in the world championship two years ago and left MLBB fans around the world in shock.

Most recently, however, bestplayer1, Hoon, ZIA, and Shark played under TheOhioBrothers name and emerged as the North American champions in 2023. They represented the region at the M5 World Championship but were eliminated in the group stage itself.

Gaimin Gladiators’ involvement in MLBB esports in NA comes as a good sign for the game as it looks to grow in the market. It remains to be seen if other esports orgs follow suit now.
