Global Esports’ CEO, Rushindra Sinha, recently shared that the organization will be setting up a temporary bootcamp in Bandra, Mumbai for its Valorant team. Sinha also stated that the organization’s Valorant team will participate in Valorant OFF//SEASON events from this bootcamp. Furthermore, he revealed that the organization is also working on setting up a bootcamp in South Korea, and will be ready by December.

In a recent livestream, Sinha announced that the plane tickets are ready, and the team is all set to embark on their journey to Mumbai for the upcoming bootcamp. Furthermore, Sinha revealed that they had already secured the keys to their bootcamp location just the day before the livestream. “Our Valorant team is going to be bootcamping in Mumbai from Bandra. So next week onwards, our practice, scrims, we are also going to be doing meet-ups, we are also going to be doing new content, we’re going to be doing road shows, Off Season events, everything possible for all of you right from here,” he added.

Sinha added, “Right now the bootcamp is in Mumbai because we are practicing here, we have a lot of off-season events here where we are invited, and there are a bunch of things that are planned in and around Mumbai plus the rest of India.”

Global Esports’ decision to set up the bootcamp in Mumbai was to minimize downtime. Instead of waiting for a bootcamp in Korea, Sinha emphasized the importance of keeping the team’s practice momentum intact. Setting up in Mumbai takes a mere two to three days, while the process in Korea is will take significantly longer—approximately 4 to 6 weeks, with a target completion date in December.

While the team is hard at work in the Mumbai bootcamp, preparations for the Korean bootcamp are already in motion. Sinha revealed that they are in the process of setting up the Korean bootcamp so that, when the time comes, the transition will be seamless.
