Want to see some really, really good graphics? Don’t worry: This is not a private UE5 tinkerer, but a real professional.

Jonathan Gregory Bick. Doesn’t that name mean anything to you? Well, it will in a minute! Because this extremely competent gentleman works full-time at GTA developer Rockstar. Privately, however, he has found a new hobby: Impressive projects in the Unreal Engine 5!

Another Unreal Engine news! Yes, but wait before you vent your displeasure in the comments. Because this is a completely different house number in terms of quality than private hobbyists who recreate their favourite games in the UE5.

Dark Souls 4, is that you?

Jonathan has shared on his X profile (it doesn’t stop feeling weird) a few screenshots from his previous walking attempts with Unreal Engine 5. These are of a dark fantasy setting that is strikingly reminiscent of a Soulslike one from FromSoftware.

Oh hi!

Eight pictures full of graphic splendour. Look at the third picture alone (the one where the knight is standing in the sun-flooded courtyard). On the building on the right, we can almost feel the individual bricks in our hand as we look at it.

 Look at the right-hand building.

And we are not the only ones who are excited. On Twit…damn! On TwiX, users are responding enthusiastically to his post. From I can’t wait to play Rockstar’s dark fantasy game! to Please go to FromSoftware everything is represented in terms of reactions.

Ben Hand also knows how to impress. This is also a rock star designer. Whether he really has such an impressive hand that it’s worthy of being a part of his name, we don’t know. What we do know, however, is that he also produces Unreal Engine projects worth seeing.

What do you think of the above screenshots from the two Rockstar developers? Do you also think that what is shown is of exceptionally high quality or do you find technical details even in these pictures that you don’t like so much? Would you like to see a fantasy game from Rockstar? Feel free to write us your opinion in the comments!
