Brawl Stars is a free-to-play game but gets much more fun when you play it with skins, different power-ups, emotes, and more. While many of these can be earned for free, the best ones are usually locked behind Gems, which is the premium currency in Brawl Stars.

How to get Free Gems in Brawl Stars?

Brawl Pass

The Brawl Pass in Brawl Stars has a second free variant. While this doesn’t contain as many rewards as the normal Brawl Pass, you can still unlock Gems in Brawl Stars for free through it.

The Brawl Pass contains 70 tiers which players must advance through by completing Quests. You can get 90 gems for free through it. The tiers are as follows:

Tier two: 10 Gems
Tier 14: 10 Gems
Tier 22: 20 Gems
Tier 36: 10 Gems
Tier 44: 10 Gems
Tier 52: 10 Gems
Tier 62: 20 Gems

Use Google Opinion Rewards

Your data is very valuable, especially to big corporations like Google who are always hungry for more. One way for the company to collect more data is Google Opinion Rewards which gives you real-money credits for completing surveys.

These surveys usually take less than five minutes and can earn you a few extra bucks if you take them regularly. You can download the Google Opinion Rewards application on both Android and iOS through the official stores.

The Google Play Credits can then be used in Brawl Stars to purchase Gems for free.

Chests

Supercell also randomly surprises players with free Gems by opening different Chests. These are harder to come by but if you are playing regularly, this is the best way to get your hands on Gems.
