The Instagram accounts of GodLike Esports’ Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) player Suraj Nityanand “Neyoo” Majumdar and Abhishek “ZGOD” Choudhary, along with Rudra “Spower” B, a former GodLike Esports player, have mysteriously vanished from the social media platform. The official Instagram handle of GodLike Esports disclosed that the accounts were deleted due to “promotion of unethical practices”. Speculations have surfaced suggesting the suspension was imposed due to their involvement in promoting Telegram channels through their Instagram stories.

Why Were the Instagram Accounts of GodLike Esports’ BGMI Players Disabled?

Neyoo, ZGOD, and SPower are a few of the most prominent BGMI players in the community. Neyoo and ZGOD have been a part of GodLike Esports since mid 2021. SPower, on the other hand, had a short stint with the organization and recently departed from the team following lackluster performances in major BGMI tournaments, such as the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 and BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) Season 2.

GodLike Esports responded to the controversy through their official Instagram story. In a statement, they expressed their regret over the accounts’ deletions and shed light on the reasons behind their actions. The organization revealed that these creators had been repeatedly cautioned and advised against participating in activities that were considered unethical within the community. Unfortunately, the precise nature of the “unethical practices” remains is still unknown.

Despite the warnings and counsel provided by GodLike Esports, the players allegedly persisted in participating in such actions. Consequently, the organization found it necessary to take action to preserve the integrity of their community and maintain a secure and ethical environment for all its users.

The organization also used the opportunity to address the broader community of content creators. It urged them to abide by guidelines and engage in responsible and ethical content creation.
