Karmine Corp smashes LEC Season Finals attendance records

Held in Paris at the La Défense Arena, KCX3, the event organized by KCorp themselves, reached a total attendance number of more than 28,000 people, reaching twice as many people in the LEC Season Finals at the Sud de France Arena in Montpellier.

With so many KCorp fans attending, founder Kamel “Kameto” Kebir shared quite a few important news regarding the upcoming months and the future of the French organization.

Aside from announcing “Arènes de l’Agora” in Evry as their own venue starting in 2024, the organization has extended its partnership deal with French multinational telecommunications corporation Orange until 2025. Moreover, KCorp will have an event with T1 in December, potentially a show match during or after the League of Its Own event that will take place in Berlin on December 9.

The French Organization might take the next step to the European stage

After winning EMEA Masters in Montpellier on September 8, KCorp have established themselves as kings of the ERL circuit once again. While rumors have been going around for a while, Kameto made the public announcement that they are close to joining LEC, meaning that we might get to see KCorp in 2024.

Nothing is confirmed as of right now, but it was mentioned that the confirmation will come somewhere in October. If KCorp were to join, it would definitely be a great boost for the leading European competition but also the entire esports circuit as a whole.

Additionally, with Riot turning the age restriction to join LEC from 17 to 18 years, Kameto announced a massive project to scout and foster young talents below the threshold, with the hopes of finding other great players like their own ADC Caliste, who, however, won’t be able to join LEC for next season due to the new regulations.
