The Insomniac Games presentation on Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was short and crisp yesterday. After a short interview with Creative Director Bryan Intihar, the release date of the highly anticipated action adventure was presented.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 holds some mysteries in store for the community. During the Summer Game Fest, Bryan Intihar revealed in an interview with Geoff Keighley that the antagonist Kraven is targeting other heroes in New York besides the two Spider-Men. However, the creative director did not give any further details. Since it is impossible to estimate which heroes will be roaming the streets of New York in this Spider-Man universe, we’d rather wait for more information to come.

It is possible, however, that this ominous figure will become a new host for the symbiote Venom. Because as Intihar revealed, Insomniac wants to tell a new original story of the alien in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Eddy Brock is thus eliminated as host.

At the end of the interview, there was a short clip announcing the long-awaited release date of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. On October 20, you can swing through New York in the Spidey duo. By the way, the playable world will be twice as big as in Miles Morales.
