In the world of CS2 esports, finding new strats is the best way to get ahead. The revamped maps of CS2 have allowed the pros to dive into the nitty-gritty details, with new things being discovered all the time.

At the recent BetBoom Dacha 2023, when MIBR faced off against Cloud9, we saw the Brazilian team show off an awesome new Mid boost on CS2’s version of Inferno. We wanted to highlight it so that you can use it for yourself.

New CS2 Inferno Mid Boost

On the right is a video from CS utility content creator NardsOutHere showcasing the boost used between MIBR and Cloud9.

The new CS2 Inferno Mid boost is so effective because it allows you to clear Long from a crazy off-angle, where you will almost certainly never be checked by CTs.

It is especially efficient at clearing out an AWP holding the angle. However, it does require another player by your side to complete.

As you can see, insani peeks over the fence into long, assembling the boost with his teammate. In this particular instance, it is disassembled before he can nab a kill, but in another situation where HObbit is closer to the angle, it’d be free.

The only downside to this is that your teammate at the bottom of the boost needs to watch short. If he doesn’t, both of you could die. In a well-functioning team, this new CS2 Inferno boost could be a powerful addition to your strat book.
