Mixwell’s legacy at a glance

The journey of this esports stalwart, from his early days in CS:GO to his recent stint with Team Heretics in Valorant, has been nothing short of remarkable.

Starting his esports journey in 2012, Mixwell made a name for himself in the CS:GO arena. His prowess with the AWP and consistent performances soon catapulted him to the top tiers of the game.

With the rise of Valorant, Mixwell transitioned to this new FPS, joining the ranks of G2 Esports in June 2020. Under his leadership, G2 showcased dominance, clinching victories in numerous tournaments throughout 2020 and 2021. On the international front, he led G2 to a commendable top-four finish at the 2021 Masters: Berlin. Although they couldn’t clinch the title, losing to the eventual champions, Gambit Esports.

At the end of 2022 he joined Team Heretics, and despite the team’s potential, their performance in the EMEA League was underwhelming. Their journey in 2023 concluded with a defeat in the EMEA LCQ. Mixwell’s decision to retire from competitive play was announced on his Twitch stream.
