During Capcom Highlights, the Japanese game developer announced that a remaster of Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will be released this summer. The release of a collection consisting of the first and second part is also planned.
On March 7 and March 11 Capcom held two half-hour video presentations titled Capcom Highlights. During last night’s stream, they not only provided new insights into Dragon’s Dogma 2, but also announced a remaster of Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. After the title was originally released for PC and Nintendo Switch in 2021, they now want to release a remaster for the PlayStation 4.
The new features include a new museum mode that shows more than 200 concept art works, background music pieces and developer drawings. There are also title updates that were previously only available in Japan. Players can look forward to riding Monsties in impressively detailed graphics with refined models, textures and lighting on larger screens.
