MultiVersus returned from its huge time off with a big new update, leaving beta and fully releasing as a game. That doesn’t mean it’s over though. This is just the start of MultiVersus patch notes and updates. With the game now fully released, we can expect these to start rolling in regularly.

If you want to stay on top of all of the changes and developments in the game, MultiVersus patch notes are a key source to look at. How characters are altered will affect how you play them pretty heavily. Off the back of the game’s new season, there are already a few characters that could really use a re-balance. Not to mention bugs like the Power Within MultiVersus badge. These are the changes so far in the MultiVersus patch notes that we’ve seen:

MultiVersus Mid-Season Patch

Source: Player First Games

MultiVersus Season 3 is in full swing, but we’ve been waiting for its latest character since it was first announced. The reveal of Queen Nubia in MultiVersus came a while ago, but we didn’t know when they’d arrive. These second new characters in each season can sometimes take a while. Today though, we’ve finally had the Midseason patch arrive along with the new character.

Queen Nubia has joined the MultiVersus roster with this latest update! After getting announced only yesterday, the midseason MultiVersus patch has arrived! Queen Nubia is available to play now that the maintenance is over.

It’s still a bit early to make major judgments on how Queen Nubia handles. However, they seem like a fun addition. They have some similarities to other characters in the roster but will liven up online play for the rest of the season.

Source: Player First Games

Another new MultiVersus update has hit today! It’s our first real update of Season 2, so what’s changed so far? There’s been one major change to MultiVersus ranked mode now it’s returned.

All Ranked games will be played in best-of-three. It’s a standardization that should keep Ranked mode working optimally. The other big change is alterations and bug fixes. The biggest news with these MultiVersus patch notes is the changes to characters!

There’s been a decent number of MultiVersus patch notes for individual characters. One of the biggest is Iron Giant. That’s pretty much par for the course. The game’s biggest character just can’t seem to settle down. They’re still fine-tuning Iron Giant it seems. These are all of the alterations.

Balancing Changes

Those are most of the new additions, but there have been some broad MultiVersus Season 2 Patch Notes for balancing. These are changed which could re-order MultiVersus tier lists for this season.

One big change that’s come is to try and make the gam reward aggression more. These are some changes these made to this end with the entire cast:

MultiVersus Hotfix

Another new MultiVersus patch is here! Although, this time it’s more of a hotfix than a dedicated patch. These are smaller little fixes that just try to sort out a specific problem in game, not a full rebalance of how everything works.

There are other changes to characters in here too though. Banana Guard has had bug fixes, Harley Quinn and Rick have both had their emote bugs sorted. Iron Giant has had more actual changes. Shaggy has also had his air neutral changed, and Reindog’s side attack.

It’s our third weekly patch in a row here. This is a smaller one, but these little changes and fixes to characters should help correct some of the problems with the game right now.

MultiVersus Full Release Patch Notes

MultiVersus returned in late May, did we get full patch notes for this change? The developers decided not to release full patch notes for the game when it came back.

There are differing opinions on this, but from some perspectives, it does make sense. MultiVersus received major changes when coming back.

On the other hand, some characters are still pretty similar like Batman in MultiVersus. The overall pace of games is slower though, which will likely effect how everyone plays even with the similarities. The lack of patch notes for the game coming back is just something players will have to deal with. However, we’ll likely continue to get full MultiVersus patch notes for these future updates.
