FaZe Clan are one of the biggest orgs in esports, with teams that compete in pretty much every title. The historic org has only had a smaller presence in fighting game epsorts in the past but with some impressive names like Sparg0 in Super Smash Bros. However, they’re making a change to step things up here. New FaZe Tekken players have been signed giving the org quite a bit more representation in fighting games

FaZe Clan have signed two new players, signalling an expansion to their competitive fighting game hopes. In a time of some shrinkage from major orgs, a big one like FaZe stepping up to sign more players is a good sign of confidence.

New FaZe Tekken Players Signed

The new FaZe Tekken players are some of the best up-and-coming players in the game. The first is Joey Fury, who began competing in Tekken back in 2016. He cracked the top 50 at the Tekken World Tour last time. However, he looks primed for a run further up the rankings this year especially with the Tekken 8 release date looming.

The second player has a smaller history with the game, but he’s had some big placements recently. The second player is HK Jr, who took third place at the Red Bull Golden Letters tournament. He looks like a player on the rise in Tekken at the moment.

The two players will begin to represent FaZe at the Gamers8 events coming up soon. With a new title on the horizon too, it’s a great time for orgs to be moving into Tekken in a bigger way.

Between all of the new releases joining the ranks of the best fighting games, and big tournament circuits getting boosts in prize pools, fighting games have a lot going on right now. With orgs expanding coverage too, it seems like it’s a great time to get involved with the FGC.
