The Fortnite Crew has long been a fun way to get unique cosmetics every month but lately, Epic’s been pushing the boat out for these subscribers. With more recent Crew Packs, players have started to get a few bonuses by staying subscribed over a longer term rather than jumping in and out. This month a new form of Legacy Styles are launching for Fortnite Crew subscribers.

New Fortnite Crew Legacy Rewards

This new update is putting a fresh Bonus benefit into the bundle with the other Fortnite Crew rewards. These new Legacy Styes are effectively quite similar to the C4 S4 Battle Pass Bonus Styles. Essentially, they’re a different pattern and style of a standard skin. Just like the bonus styles in the Battle Pass, it’s a great way to show off that you’ve been subscribed for a bit longer. In the months after this Crew Pack, players will receive different styles and variations on the skin as a reward. These are the different Fortnite Crew styles you can unlock.

Legacy Style – Unlocks at 1 Month
Auric Legacy Style – Unlocks at 2 Months
Phase Legacy Style – 3 Months
Rimebound Legacy Style – 4 Months
Cosmic Legacy Style – 5 Months

These Legacy styles give a different version of the base Crew Pack skin along with the back bling. They’re a reward for those who stay subscribed for longer than just a single month.

What are the Legacy Styles For?

These Legacy Styles follow Epic’s previous incentives to stay subscribed for longer, but why are the styles now being offered? Pretty quickly after the Fortnite crew was launched, players figured out there was a cost-effective to get more of the top Fortnite skins. The Fortnite Crew rewards players with a free Battle pass, V-Bucks, and a skin each month. The skin isn’t tied to each payment but to calendar months.

This basically meant crafty players could pay for the end of a month and get two sets of rewards. Although it’s even more effective to time it right over a Battle Pass changeover. You could get two sets of cosmetics, two Battle Passes, and more for a single Fortnite crew pack purchase. However, you won’t get these bonus styles.

Epic has started throwing out more bonus rewards like this to try and get players to stick around for the long term! If you’re particularly interested in this current crew pack skin it might be worth keeping your subscription going. Staying subscribed a little longer to get the bonus styles.
