New State Mobile August Update Patch Notes: Akinta map expansion and more

New State Mobile is the second mobile game based on the PUBG franchise for Android and iOS. The game has been hugely successful largely due to the regular content updates to keep players hooked on it. Now, New State Mobile has released the August update to the game, featuring an enhancement to the Akinta map, a new mode, the latest volume of the Survivor’s Pass, and more.

Here are the highlights of the patch notes for the August update in New State Mobile.

Akinta map has been expanded with two new areas

The biggest feature of the new August update in New State Mobile is the expansion of the Akinta map. The map has received new territories in the previously inaccessible northern region.

Two new areas have been added. The first is the Temple, where ruins are being excavated. Set in the backdrop of a hill, watch out for snipers up in the mountains looking to take you down. The Temple features scattered and ancient infrastructure with plenty of open areas to give close-range and long-range fights as well.

Additionally, the ruins of the Temple will spawn special items making it a hot drop in the first circle.

The Canal, on the other hand, features a small township near the edge of the water. Situated right next to the Temple, it features different kinds of buildings for players to loot.

Lastly, Krafton has adjusted the session balance for the map. This is as follows:

With the increase in the map’s size, the first blue zone’s area has also been increased.
Krafton has also made the blue zone more random than before.

The new mode in the August update of New State Mobile pits humans against AI

The Humans vs. AI is an exciting new PvE mode where you and your teammates descend into Akinta to fight for victory. The mode is played as a standard Battle Royale, however, your opponents will be powerful AIs. The blue zone and item spawn balance in this mode aren’t being changed.

The AI in this new mode in the August update of New State Mobile will get stronger as the match progresses. Their weapons and the actions they take will be enhanced. To know what kind of AI you are taking on, simply take a look at their costumes which change at the next level.

Only one squad can fight in this mode. Additionally, players can earn more BP through the new Human vs. AI mode in the August update of New State Mobile than in the standard BR modes.

SL8 gets a new attachment, the Savage Barrel

The legendary DMR is getting a new attachment for its C2 slot. The Savage Barrel is the second customization for the weapon. Once it’s applied, it will give you the following effects:

The full auto mode will be available.
The flash suppression will be reduced.
The vertical recoil control will be reduced.
The muzzle slot will become unavailable.

Thus, while sacrificing the muzzle slot you can get the full auto mode, a reduction in flash suppression, and also the horizontal recoil.

New Season of the Ace League is here

A new season of the Ace League has also dropped with the August update in New State Mobile. The preliminary round of the league will be held two per day from Sept. 9 to 15. The main round, on the other hand, will also be held for only two hours each day on Sept. 16 and 17.

Players need to be Diamond V or more and have 3000 Diamond Tier points to participate in the preliminary round. For the main round, you also need to earn a Main Round participation ticket.

You can get Drone tickets by participating in the Ace League. Krafton has increased its frequency in the August update of New State Mobile.

Additionally, the Weekly League won’t be available from Sept. 9 to 17 to give way to the Ace League.

The August Update in New State Mobile brings a new Survivor Pass with exciting rewards

The August update of New State Mobile has brought the Survivor Pass Vol. 22 into the game. As usual, the pass features two variants, the free and the paid premium version. The premium costs 1500 NC and also has a Plus Version which lets you easily unlock some of the tiers at 3800 NC.

The Protagonist of this season’s Survivor Pass is “Dante” of Dreamrunner. The pass features several exciting regards such as skins, outfits, hats, and more.
