New State Mobile Oct. 2023 Update: New Weapon, Parachute changes, and more

New State Mobile has released its October 2023 update and it has introduced a few new features for players to test out. The highlight is the new weapon, more about which can be read below. It also brought changes to parachuting mechanics and the Survivor Pass Vol. 20.

New Blue Zone Grenade throwable lets you attack campers

The Blue Zone Grenade is a unique throwable item never seen before in the PUBG franchise. When this is used, a blue zone is created which expands gradually. At its maximum, it lasts for five seconds before gradually sinking.

Just like the regular Blue Zone in the game, it also does similar damage. What makes it really exciting, though, is that the Blue Zone grenade effect can be stacked with the regular Blue Zone. This will help players weed out enemies trying to engage in heal battles instead of fighting.

Additionally, the effect of multiple Blue Zone grenades can also be stacked.

Parachuting mechanics have been changed in the October 2023 update of New State Mobile

The parachuting mechanics in New State Mobile have received a major change with the October 2023 update. Now, there will be two options for players, namely the Glide and Descend.

Descend: When you press this, the character will fall vertically and can be landed quickly by deploying the parachute.
Glide: This feature allows players to glide with their parachute allowing them to reach further destinations.

Weapon Balancing and Gun customization

The AK Alfa has received a new C2 customization in the form of the Laser Grip. When this is attached to the legendary assault rifle, the following effects can be experienced:

Increased vertical recoil control
Increased deviation control when hip fired
Reduced ADS speed
Increased deviation control when shouldered
Grip slot unavailable

Additionally, the October update in New State Mobile has also made some balance changes. These are as follows:

The bolt action speed of the DSR-1 has been increased.
The M249 C2’s attachable shield’s size has been reduced.

New State Mobile October 2023 update brings Survivor Pass Vol. 24

With a new update, a new survivor pass has arrived. Volume 24 of the Survivor Pass has brought several exciting rewards to the game. The protagonist of the Pass is Chris of New State.
