What is King’s Bounty 2?

The tactical role-playing game is, as the name suggests, the latest instalment in the King’s Bounty series, but does a few things differently and leans more towards role-playing than ever before. Here you explore the world from a shoulder perspective, experience cutscenes, get to make decisions in quests and delve into a deep character system. Nevertheless, King’s Bounty 2 remains a game for tactics fans. Because the tactical battles are just as demanding as in previous games and quite tricky, especially for beginners. Those who are hoping for a role-playing game and only see the turn-based battles as a necessary evil will probably not be happy with the title.

With its new direction, King’s Bounty 2 didn’t make all fans happy by a long shot, as can be seen from the rather mixed Steam ratings.
