ONIC Esports are set to defend their title
ONIC Esports have been the best team so far in the MPL Indonesia Season 12. Not just because of their first-place finish but also because of the overall statistics.
The team has picked up a total of 507 kills, being the only team to touch the 500 mark this season. A testament to their aggressive gameplay, they also have the most assists at 1205. The squad has supreme coordination and depth, and their high assists show the level of teamplay displayed by them.
Individually as well, the players have been performing well. Star player and jungler, Kairi has the second most kills this season at 143. He also has a very high KDA of 7.53 making him a consistent performer in the team.
SANZ, who controls the crucial mid-lane, has also been putting up great numbers. He has a KDA of 9.22, making him a very tough opponent to take off the map.
The team faces either Bigetron or Rebellion Zion in their first playoff match. Onic have won both of their series against the two teams in the Regular Season.

The remaining three teams have been knocked out. Perhaps the biggest upset of the season has been the elimination of the fan favorite EVOS Legends who placed second last season.
