OXG Holiday Invitational – 16 teams, 1 winner

The OXG Holiday Invitational is an online tournament created by Oxygen Esports, an American esports organization located in New England. It’s considered a B-tier tournament featuring a $10,000 prize pool.

A total of 16 teams have been invited to the tournament, including the likes of G2 Esports, Dignitas, NRG, Oxygen Esports’ own RLCS team which will play from its headquarters in Boston, and many others. It also features the recent winners of The Draw and the Fall Showdown, Shopify Rebellion, and Luminosity Gaming. Below is the list of participants, ordered by seeding:

Format and Schedule

The 16 teams will compete in a double elimination bracket, with all matches being Bo5s except the Grand Finals, which will feature a Bo7 match. According to the tournament rules, the Grand Final team that advances through the upper bracket will also gain a one-game advantage, giving them a headstart.

The OXG Holiday Invitational kicked off on Wednesday, December 20 at 00:00 CET with only 8 teams remaining (G2 Stride, Oxygen Esports, Dignitas, hey bro, NRG, Spacestation, M80, and Torment’s Minions). These eight teams will play once again later today, December 21, starting from 00:00 CET
