The 2023 PUBG Mobile esports season is almost set to come to a close. After an exhilarating League Stage, which saw 48 teams compete for slots in the Grand Finals, the 16 squads in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2023 Finals have been locked in.
The PMGC 2023 Finals is set to take place from Dec. 8 to 10 at the Ülker Sports and Event Hall in Istanbul, Turkey. This is the first time that the PMGC global finals are coming to a Middle Eastern country. What makes it even more exciting is that the defending world champions, Turkey’s S2G Esports, will be looking to take the crown for the second year in a row at home. Besides the title, the teams are fighting for a share of the $3 million prize pool.

Who are the 16 teams in the PMGC 2023 Grand Finals?
Tencent directly invited two teams to the PMGC 2023 Grand Finals. S2G Esports secured a slot as the host country, while Titan Esports Club earned an invitation as the Chinese champions.
The remaining 14 teams have made it through the Group Stage, which happened from Nov. 2 to 26. The complete list of teams is as follows:

What is the format?
The format for the Grand Finals is very simple. The teams will play 18 matches in total across the three days. The squad with the most points at the end will be crowned the 2023 champions.
