Capcom rings in the weekend with a little celebration. They announce via social media that the Resident Evil 4 Remake has sold 5 million copies.

The gaming year 2023 already got off to a strong start in the first quarter with the release of Resident Evil 4 Remake, among others. The community’s enthusiasm was so great that 3 million copies were sold just a few days after release. Since March, a few million more have been sold. As announced on Twitter, the remake has now sold 5 million copies.

Capcom has already taken care of supplies. The free VR mode of the Resident Evil 4 remake is to be added shortly. Speculation also suggests that a remake version of the DLC Separate Ways could follow. Capcom has not yet commented on this, however.

We will keep you posted if there is any news on this.
