Following the various leaks about the new boy band skin line coming to LoL, Riot Games teased fans by revealing the new group called Heartsteel.
HeartSTEEL – the new boy band for LoL
Riot Games has officially revealed Heartsteel, its newest all-boy virtual group, who will be performing one of the songs for the League of Legends World Championship (Worlds 2023).
In the past few days, it was confirmed through a leak that the boy band would be made by six different LoL champions: Ezreal, Kayn, Aphelios, Yone, K’Sante, and Sett.
The song, titled “Paranoia” will be released next Monday, October 23 at 17:00 CET on Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music, and Deezer. The song will come right after the end of the Swiss stage round 3.

Introducing League of Legends’ new virtual boy group, Heartsteel
Out of the six artists that will be performing the song, Riot Games’ music department already revealed four of them: Korean pop group, EXO’s Baekhyun, Angeles rapper Cal Scruby, Taiwanese-American singer-songwriter and rapper ØZI, and Nigerian hip-hop/rap artiste Tobi Lou. There are still two artists, however, who have yet to be confirmed, and which champion each singer will represent in the boy band. That said, we did predict that Riot was going to include various artists from different genres to appeal to a broader audience.
“The group’s personality and sound draws inspiration from modern music collectives, and a range of influences from across genres and eras, culminating in a bold, one-of-a-kind identity,” Riot Games said in a press release.
Heartsteel will be the third music group introduced to LoL, following the great success of K/DA and True Damage. The latter two were introduced respectively in 2018 and 2019, receiving positive feedback from the community. And just like the two previous groups, Riot decided to include in-game elements in the group: Heartsteel is the name of one of the LoL in-game Mythic items.
For the two remaining mysterious artists, we might expect artists from the same music group, similar to how G-IDLE contributed to K/DA’s success with Miyeon and Soyeon. If the rumors from previous months still stand, there is a chance we get two singers from the K-pop band group ATEEZ, following their visit to Riot HQ in August. That being said, this is just speculation and is still yet to be confirmed. The wait won’t be long, though, as fans will find out on October 23
