After the Google Play store had already leaked the release date, the official confirmation from Genvid followed yesterday. Silent Hill: Ascension will be released on Halloween night.
At the end of Spooktober, things get really spooky again. Because Genvid and Konami will release the first clip of Silent Hill: Ascension on 31 October American time. In this country, the scene will unfortunately only be online at 3 a.m. on November 1.
In a video, Genvid CEO Jacob Navok explained the concept here to the streaming event.
From 1 November, scenes from Silent Hill: Ascension will be posted online every day for a period of 6 months The community can vote on their outcome either live or via Video on Demand (VOD) on the official website.
At the end of the week, the scenes are combined into one episode, so that the community can view their entire work.
The community’s decision-making power leaves the outcome of Silent Hill: Ascension completely open, so even the producers don’t know how the series will end. To participate in this new streaming format, you can check out the official website
