Silent Hill: Ascension represents the horror of a new generation. Exactly how the interactive series experience from Konami and Bad Robot is shaping up is revealed in a new video.

Based on the Telltale Games and Blackmirror: Bandersnatch, Konami has developed a new concept of horror together with the production company Bad Robot. In Silent Hill: Ascension, the entire community decides on certain events about the further course of the series. They will have approximately one week to do so, so that not only live viewers have the right to vote.

In terms of content, Silent Hill: Ascension will revolve around a town whose inhabitants are all burdened with personal traumas. As these seem to become real, they must make common trade-offs. Which apparitions are real? Which are the result of a collectively experienced delusion?

Thus, this horror experience is meant to become a community-experienced “meditation” on recognising trauma and how it affects the environment.

Silent Hill: Ascension will be released later this year.
