Thanks to the current Steam sale, you can grab numerous games from EA for a good price. We tell you which offers stand out from the crowd.
For quite some time,
EA aspired to emancipate itself completely from Steam. In the meantime, the publisher is back and also offers new games on Valve”s distribution platform. At the moment there is also (a pretty big sale), thanks to which you can get numerous games at lower prices on Steam. It doesn”t matter if it”s a classic or a novelty game.
But since EA has been around for quite a while now, the offer is of course huge. In this article, we will therefore give you a professional assessment of which of the offers are most worthwhile for you right now.
1. it takes two
It Takes Two is no longer an insider tip, but cannot be praised often enough. This wonderful action adventure convinces with a heart-warming story and a real gameplay firework. Grab your boyfriend, girlfriend, husband or wife, best friends or pets and plunge into one of the best co-op adventures ever. Only one person needs to own the game to play it together. For just 20 euros, you”re guaranteed not to go wrong.
Command & Conquer Remastered
Yes, even the remaster of the time-honoured Command & Conquer certainly shows its age. Even the improved visuals with the higher-resolution cutscenes cannot hide that fact. In terms of quality of life, too, C&C does not take as big a step forward as some fans would have liked. But anyone who wants to take a short trip back in time to the heyday of real-time strategy should not miss this opportunity. Especially since it only costs 3 euros in the sale.
3. Titanfall 2
Before EA”s in-house studio Respawn made the friendship between Jedi Knight Cal Kestis and his little droid BD-1 the focus of their stories, they dealt with the bond between man and machine in a different way. Six years after its release, the mech shooter Titanfall 2 still offers one of the most emotional and gripping single-player campaigns we have seen in the first-person shooter genre in recent years. Of course, the multiplayer can also be quite captivating. But we recommend Titanfall 2 if you”re looking for a great story with a lot of shooting as well.
Need for Speed: Unbound
Need for Speed has become a real grab bag. Sometimes a new part races away from the competition, sometimes it crashes into the barricade right after the start. Unbound clearly belongs to the first category. Yes, there are also some things to criticise about the latest Need for Speed, but this has (more to do with the service aspect) than with the fact that this racing game is basically no fun. At its core, this is one of the most interesting representatives of this renowned game series, which scores points with its unique visuals and a wonderfully fast-paced driving experience. What”s more, NfS Unbound has never been as cheap as it is now.
5th Mass Effect Legendary Edition
Mass Effect is undoubtedly one of the best role-playing series of all time, and the first three parts in particular tell a spectacularly good story that you, as Commander Shepard, put your own stamp on. This sci-fi saga should simply be experienced, and the best way to do that is with the barely two-year-old Legendary Edition, which ties all three games together and also polishes them up considerably. By the way, you can also just pick up the Bioware Mega Collection. It only costs 4 euros more than the Legendary Edition and also includes all three parts of the Dark Fantasy series Dragon Age. Oh, and Mass Effect: Andromeda is also included.
