Which games are coming out on Steam in March that could be exciting for you? We’ve taken a look around and have plenty of tips for you

Which games will be released on Steam in March 2024? To list all the titles without exception would go beyond the scope of this article, and many games probably wouldn’t interest you at all.

We have the highlights for you – 18 of them! The god of games is more than kind to us in March. Below we present the most important titles so that you can start the new month in the best possible way

These Steam highlights await you in March 2024

March 4

The Thaumaturge: In this story-driven, isometric role-playing game, you are faced with numerous moral dilemmas. In early 20th century Warsaw, you play a spirit seer who can see beings called Salutors and have them fight for him.

We Are Football 2024: The round must go into the square. The game lasts 90 minutes. Let’s not even start with the offside rule. The main thing is that VfL Wolfsburg are champions at the end of the season. We’re not writing this because Heiko forced us to! By the way: Feel free to read his fresh test report!

March 5

Expeditions: A MudRunner Game: In this simulation game, you take a customized vehicle into areas that are difficult to access. Will you get your tires stuck in the mud or will you reach your destination? Soon you can find out!

March 6

Winter Survival: How long can you survive in winter? And no, we’re not talking about whether you’ve forgotten your scarf at home. In this survival game, you have to survive in a hostile freezing cold until rescue arrives.

March 8

Summerhouse: Here you don’t build a city, just a single house – but with all the more creative possibilities. If you just want to relax, this indie building game could be something for you. Tip: Play the demo before you buy!

9 Days: The clock is ticking! You only have nine days to prepare for the arrival of a supervillain in an open world. On the ninth day, things really get down to business.

Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection: A good dose of nostalgia surrounds this jam-packed and technically enhanced remake of the two multiplayer hits Star Wars: Battlefront (2004) and Battlefront 2 (2005).

March 15

Outcast: A New Beginning: The sequel to the cult game from 1999. As Cutter Slade, you return to the alien planet Adelpha and must free the inhabitants enslaved by robots. Your actions will dynamically influence the story. Tip: Just play the demo before you buy!

March 19

Lightyear Frontier: You land on a planet, climb into a mech and build your new home together with up to three friends, grow plants and more. Of course, you can also explore the open world.

March 20

Alone in the Dark: The remake of the 1992 horror action game sends you to Louisiana in the 1920s. As private investigator Edward Carnby (played by Stranger Things star David Harbour), you have to solve a murder case on a huge estate. Tip: You can play a free prologue now!

March 21

Horizon: Forbidden West – Complete Edition: In the sequel to the PlayStation hit Horizon: Zero Dawn you travel through the Forbidden West as Aloy to save the world from destruction. The complete package for PC also includes the DLC Burning Shores

March 22

Dragon’s Dogma 2: After many years of waiting, fans of the predecessor are finally getting a second installment. The cornerstones of the role-playing game: In a very large open world in a European fantasy setting, you make all kinds of important decisions – which apparently cannot be easily undone, even by reloading.

March 25

Palia: The MMO mixes game mechanics from Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing. You build with friends, get to know NPCs, craft equipment and much more. Sounds wonderfully relaxing to you just reading about it? Maybe this title is just the resting place you need right now.

March 26

Millenia: At first glance, it looks like just another Civilization clone. However, we believe that behind the façade lies an exciting 4X strategy game which, in our opinion, struggles with one major weakness, namely the off-putting first impression.

Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles: The new game from Falconeer developer Tomas Sala is a mix of building game and real-time strategy and relies on a unique building system. We discovered this in our preview: It’s a lot of fun – but not enough happens yet. Tip: Just play the demo before you buy!

South Park: Snow Day!: Winter may be coming to an end in March, but that doesn’t stop Eric, Kyle, Stan and Kenny from having a proper snowball fight. If you’re familiar with the series, you’ll know that it’s a real battle!

Outpost: Infinity Siege: We could have easily put this first-person shooter in the strategy category. You use your firearm to fight off masses of nasty aliens, but you also build a base and manufacture equipment.

March 28

Godsworn: At first glance, it’s almost reminiscent of a modern Warcraft strategy game. And it’s also in classic real-time strategy style: you build your base, train units and can choose a divine hero.

Hopefully you’ve now discovered lots of new games to have a good time with in March. If you’re looking for more Steam tips, be sure to check out the article linked above. There we introduce you to smaller titles that often get lost among all the big releases.
