Street Fighter 6 Ed Trailer Shows Gameplay

The latest character to get added to the roster of SF 6 is Ed. The fighter was introduced in the last game in the series, SF 5. He’s making a return as DLC this time. The character in the game’s lore is Balrog’s prodigy. Naturally his moveset has kept a bit of inspiration from that character, but gone more in its own direction for Street Fighter 6.

In the new trailer, we see Ed first getting approached at a train station. That’s before he actually gets into the fighting. We see some glimpses of his new moveset here, with major changes from his earlier appearance. He looks like a more punch heavy character this time. He has a particularly exciting super shown off in this new trailer. The trailer even shows off his alternative costume!

Ed Release Date

When does Street Fighter 6 Ed release? The character’s latest trailer is driving a lot of hype for the character, but there’s a bit of a wait still. The character is due to release on the 27th of February. It’s been a longer time for this character’s release. However, with the Capcom Cup still to wrap up, it makes a lot of sense to save a new character until the end of the month.
