Park Beyond

Park Beyond is a new series from Bandai Namco at Gamescon that is in a bit of a different genre. This is a management sim, giving players free rein to run an amusement park! It’s a familiar idea for a SIM game. The show will be a chance to see how it compares to bigger names in the genre like rollercoaster tycoon.

SAND LAND

Another major title from Bandai Namco at the event is SAND LAND. This is the first time the game will be playable in Europe. The title is based on the later work of Akira Toriyama, the mangaka behind the huge Dragon Ball franchise. SAND LAND is a more adventure-driven title and the new game looks like a fun exploration of this.

Tekken 8

The biggest game featured for Bandai Namco Gamescon is Tekken 8! The new fighting game is one of the most anticipated new releases of the year. The game will be playable as one v ones at Gamescom. This will be a fun opportunity for players to fight against other attendees. While a Tekken 8 closed beta is upcoming too, nothing beats in-person matches. We’ll have to see how attendees to Bandai Namco at Gamescon report on the game and if it’s living up to its promising combat.

Those are all of the titles featured at the event. Similar upcoming fighters will also be playable at Comic Con soon, not to mention EVO 2023! We’re likely going to start seeing more and more impressions of how the title is shaping up before the Tekken 8 release date, even if you can’t make it to one of these events yourself.
